Low-Income or Lower-Middle-Income Country (LMIC) Registration Rates

Participants residing in countries classified by the World Bank as Low-Income or Lower-Middle-Income Economies may be eligible for reduced LMIC registration rates.

Eligibility is based on the participant's country of residence. A list of eligible countries is available on the World Bank website: WDI - The World by Income and Region.

Eligible participants who meet the LMIC criteria will automatically be offered the applicable reduced registration category during registration.

Please note that eligibility may be subject to verification, and registrants may be asked to provide supporting information if required.

Indigenous to Canadian Territory Registration Category

This registration category is available to individuals who identify as Indigenous to Canadian territory, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

To register under this category, please contact the AILA 2027 Congress Secretariat at AILA-Info@mci-agency.com. Documentation or other proof of Indigenous identity is required to confirm eligibility.

Accompanying Guests

Registered delegates may purchase tickets for one (1) guest to attend the Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner, or both. Guest tickets must be linked to the primary registrant's registration and cannot be purchased independently.

Additional guest tickets can be purchased during the Additional People step of the registration process.

Please note that visa invitation letters are not available for individuals registered only for social events.

Conference Lunches

Lunch is available for purchase at $40 per day and may be added to your registration during the Event Selection step.

Lunch tickets are available to registered conference participants only and cannot be purchased for guests.

Each lunch includes a sandwich or salad, fresh fruit, and a sweet treat. Menu items vary by day.

Presenter Registration

Presenting authors whose abstracts have been accepted are required to register and pay the applicable registration fee by January 30, 2027 in order to maintain their presentation within the scientific program.

Further instructions regarding session scheduling and presentation details will be shared shortly.

As a reminder, please ensure that your participation complies with the AILA 2027 submission and presentation guidelines. If you have multiple accepted submissions, additional guidance may be provided regarding presentation limits and scheduling.

Visa Invitation Letters

  • You can request a visa invitation letter on the registration form. You must register and pay in full for a visa invitation letter to be issued. Our events organizing team will send a list of registered, and cancelled delegates, to the IRCC to validate visa applications.
  • Please note that visa denials or delays do not qualify for exceptions to the cancellation policy. We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for visa delays or denials.
  • While the AILA 2027 Organizing Team is here to support registered delegates, please note that we cannot influence the processing times of Canadian embassies worldwide.

Registration POlicy

  • Any inquiries or requests for additional information, modification and cancellations should be sent at to AILA-Info@mci-agency.com.  
  • A confirmation notice detailing your registration will be sent to you immediately upon completion of this registration form. If you do not receive this confirmation within 24 hours, please contact AILA-Info@mci-agency.com.
  • No badge will be provided until full payment of all outstanding invoices is received. 
  • AILA 2027 or its agents will be filming, photographing, or recording sound throughout the conference. By agreeing registering to attend the conference AILA 2027, you consent to being filmed, photographed, or recorded at during the conference. 
  • By registering to AILA 2027 you agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct.
  • It is recommended that registrants obtain adequate travel, health and accident insurance before departing from their respective country of residence. 
  • All registration is subject to availability. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Registration Cancellation and Refund Policies

  • Cancellations received prior to 11:59 PM PT on 9 May 2027, registration fees will be refunded less service charge of $50 USD.
     
  • Cancellations received after 11:59 PM PT on 9 May 2027, and no-shows are non-refundable.
     
  • Please note that visa denials and visa processing delays do not qualify for any exception to the conference cancellation and refund policy. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for visa delays or denials. All cancellations will strictly follow the above policies.
